Launch Pad New Orleans started in 2009. We’ve had a wonderful run at our home at 643 Magazine street for the last 7 years. We’re proud of the role we’ve played in the New Orleans entrepreneurial renaissance with companies like Lucid, Audiosocket, Kickboard spending time at Launch Pad. We’ve even helped launch other communities like 4.0 Schools and Propeller.
We’re ready for our next act.
Launch Pad New Orleans is moving on up … and just down the block.
In February 2017, Launch Pad will move to the 9th floor of 400 Poydras. Our expanded space will continue to serve our community of entrepreneurs, creatives and professionals and will be designed based on our seven years of experience understanding the needs of how people want to work in a fun and productive community.
We host over 300 events a year at Launch Pad and our communal meetup space is home to Hack Night and many of New Orleans’ meetup groups. Designing the space has been a rewarding process and members can expect expanded amenities. Our Launch Pad Commons will be a communal space dedicated to conversation and collaboration during the day and functional for large meetup groups and events in the evenings. It will feature a bar and built in kitchen elements for hosting events as well as integrated AV capabilities.
A flexible classroom-style room will serve as home to coding classes and a perfect place for pitch practice and corporate offsites. coworking areas will be expanded along with the permanent desks. Private offices will be designed in a stylish format with views overlooking the Crescent City Connection bridge.
